TIA to be closed for half an hour

The return of Honorable President Bidhya Devi Bhandari from a five day visit to India will result Tribhuvan International Airport to be closed for half an hour today night.

According to the TIA’s spokesperson Prem Nath Thakur, the landing of Nepal Airlines Airbus A320 carrying president of Nepal is scheduled at 7:30 PM local time however; it may change due to some circumstances.

He said that the airport will be closed from 7:15 PM to 7:45 PM but the emergency flights will not be affected.
