Air Canada 787 C-FGDT experienced generator problems while taxiing

Today at 20:15 local time, an Air Canada Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner with registration C-FGDT experienced generator problems while taxiing at Toronto Pearson International Airport in Canada. Air Canada flight number AC58 was bound to Hamad International Airport, Doha, Qatar.

The aircraft was taxiing when it returned to the gate due to a generator problem, according to flightradar24. While taxiing, the tower noticed smoke and flames. The Toronto Pearson fire department responded quickly and took charge of the situation. No injuries have been reported. 

Airlines established an investigative team to determine the cause of the incident.
