Aviation Turbine Fuel price slashed by NOC

Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has decreased the price of Aviation Turbine fuel. The corporation has decreased the cost of ATF for domestic airlines by Rupees 10.

After the price cut in the fuel, the new cost of a liter of the ATF will be 94.50 rupees. Previously, the cost of the fuel was 104.50 rupees.

The new price schedule came into effect from Thursday Mid-night stated oil corporation official.

The government controls the price of a plane ticket while airlines are allowed to fix the surcharge if fuel prices fluctuate by at least Rs4 per liter. Thus, the price of air fare on domestic route is expected to be decreased subsequently.

The international airline should pay USD50 more for per kiloliter of ATF which makes it $1125 per kiloliter.
