Biratnagar airport is undergoing maintenance work due to which airport is scheduled to be closed partially. Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) has commenced the maintenance and up-gradation work for the airport.
The airport will undergo maintenance and enhancement for which it will be closed after 2pm. The runway hasnโt been maintained since a long period time so the authority have initiated the refurbishment project for the airport.
The airport will operate from morning to day time till 2 as usual. The repair work was started from Saturday and is expected to be continued for coming next 2 week.
