Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC), a national flag carrier is offering a special discount in Kathmandu-Bangkok-Kathmandu flight.
The corporation is offering a special scheme ‘one ticket free in group of five’ to Kathmandu- Bangkok-Kathmandu flight.
According to the corporation, the scheme will be implemented till the next three months (January, February and March).
Nawaraj Koirala, NAC assistant spokesperson stated that the scheme has been implemented in the aim of promoting tourism and business.
According to him, this plan will be expanded in other destinations based on the demand.
He said that the corporation has offered this scheme as there is low business in Bangkok at the present time. The main objective of this offer is to increase the business in Bangkok.
“The corporation is planning to offer such scheme in other destination as well,” he added.
Every passenger should pay Rs 12000 excluding taxes for Kathmandu-Bangkok flight.
The corporation will be operating flight in three days of a week on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Currently, NAC has been operating international flight to 8 destinations in New Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai, Malaysia, Singapore, Bangkok and Qatar.
In the near future, the corporation is working to operate direct flights to Japan, China, South Korea and Saudi Arabia.
The corporation has 2 A330 wide body aircraft, 2 narrow body aircraft and one beoing 757 series aircraft for the international flights.
