NAC republishes proposals seeking for an Aviation Expert Consultant


The stated owned flag carrier of Nepal, Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) has invited sealed proposals for the second time from all interested, competent and eligible individuals who can provide his/her expertise in the field of Operations. NAC is expecting a Aviation Expert Consultant who can deliver the job effectively in the Consultancy Services.

According to the Notice republished on 31st of March, 2018, the flag carrier requires the proposal to be submitted no later than 15th of April 2018 by 1200 hrs local time. The consultant during his/her tenure must produce result-oriented outcomes with Terms of References (TOR) including Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to assist in NAC’s existing and planned operations. The Request for Proposal (RFP) is addressed to all international aviation experts in Operations sector. The selection of a consultant will be done through Quality-Cost Based Selection (QCBS) and other necessary procedures.

At present, NAC does not have any expert in the Operations sector working as a Consultant to provide his/her expertise in assisting NAC’s existing and future planned operations.

NAC has published a detail RFP in their official website seeking formal proposals from all competent and eligible individuals.

As per the notice, the contract period of the consultant shall be one year and he/she must be present at NAC for at least 5 days per week in normal case. Besides, the consultant shall be responsible for training NAC’s employees if required.

The flag carrier is operating domestic and international flights with its 11 aircraft. 2 Twin-Otter (DHC-6), 2 MA 60 and 4 Y12e operates for domestic sector whereas 1 Boeing 757 and 2 Airbus A320s operate international flights to 7 destinations around the world. NAC who has plans to increase fleet size is nearing to take the delivery of two A330-200 wide-body aircraft that will serve the industry with its long-distance flights to Korea, Japan and Australia.

To enhance and strengthen the operational management, NAC has expected proposals from aviation experts who can work for the welfare of the corporation.
