Nepal Airlines and Himalaya Airlines flying to Bangladesh next week
Nepal Airlines A320 has been scheduled for flying to Bangladesh in a repatriating flight of Nepalese stranded at Bangladesh due to lockdown. As per the Embassy of Nepal in Dhaka, the aircraft for Nepal Airlines will land Dhaka on Sunday (14 June 2020). According to the notice published by embassy, Twenty Nine Nepalese living in Bangladesh have been given first priority to return home in first flight of Nepal Airlines.
In the mean while, second flight for Dhaka, Bangladesh will be conducted by Himalaya airlines on 17 June 2020. The embassy has declared USD 165 for one way fare charge.
Passengers have to fill in the personal details form before the flight along with COVID-19 Test.
It is said that, returning passengers will have to arrive at Dhaka Airport three hours earlier after the embassy informs them of the flight time.
According to the embassy, those wishing to return to Nepal will have to bear the cost of their flight and all expenses incurred on their return as provided by the order of the Government of Nepal.
