Passengerโ€™s death compels Emirates to divert its flight

Emirates Airbus A380 flight en route from Dubai to Munich had to make an immediate landing after the take-off from Dubai. The aircraft flying to Munich was diverted to Kuwait International Airport on October 10 after a seven-year-old child passenger health condition was found critical in the onboard flight.

The passenger was given emergency medical attention upon landing but unfortunately, couldnโ€™t be saved.

The flight continued its journey to Munich where it landed around 2.5hours behind the schedule.

โ€œEmirates confirmed that flight EK049 from Dubai to Munich was diverted on 10 October 2017 to Kuwait International Airport due to a medical emergency. The passenger received immediate medical attention upon landing, but unfortunately was pronounced dead by an emergency doctor on the ground,โ€ the airline said in a statement toย Gulf News.

However, the statement didnโ€™t clear the cause of childโ€™s death. The statement said, โ€œEmirates expressed the condolences to the family of the deceased.โ€
