“With the restart of flights to Phuket, Qatar Airways marks a critical milestone in the rehabilitation of international tourism,” stated His Excellency Mr. Akbar Al Baker, Group Chief Executive of Qatar Airways. Throughout the outbreak, we are happy to have led the industry in terms of safety, inventiveness, and service quality.

“We understand that many of our clients are ready to get back on the plane and visit some of their favorite vacation spots, such as Phuket. Phuket is a great place to visit in the summer because of its numerous unique beaches, family-friendly ambiance, blue oceans, and tasty local food. We look forward to working with our Thai partners to help the country’s tourist industry recover.”

The route will be flown by the airline’s sophisticated and environmentally friendly Boeing 787 Dreamliner, which has space for 22 Business Class guests and 232 Economy Class passengers.
