There has been some difficulty in conducting night flights to Biratnagar as the airport is under some maintenance. Thakur said that the international flights have been operating smoothly, however; traffic in domestic flights require some improvement.

Mostly, the increasing air traffic in Kathmandu has been affecting the flight operations in Pokhara, Biratnagar, Nepalgunj and Bhairahawa.
