Simrik Air, a private helicopter company carried out the sling operation of its crashed AS350 B2 ‘9N-ALR’ Chopper to Tribhuvan International Airport.

The airline had deployed its own AS350 B3e (H125) helicopter on an immediate mission of removing the debris from the Roof Top Helipad of Grande International Hospital. The airline after getting necessary permissions from CAA Nepal with the authorized Nepalese Crews carried out the sling task today. The Crashed Helicopter had been acting as a Hazard to the Rooftop Helipad of Grande International Hospital.

Simrik Air AS350B2 ‘9N-ALR’ crash-landed while approaching to land at the rooftop helipad of Grande International Hospital on June 30, this year and fortunately, the single occupant of the helicopter Pilot Capt. Hareram Thapa escaped without any injury. After successfully airlifting a patient from Charikot to Grande, the helicopter was again on the way to Bharatpur to evacuate another patient after refueling at TIA and was landing at the helipad to ferry the medical team. The helicopter fell 10 feet down off the rooftop helipad of the hospital while touching down for landing.
