Sita Air’s Dornier DO-228 ready for schedule flight after minor incident in Phaplu

According to Sita Air’s officials, the Dornier ‘9N-AHR’ which met a minor incident at Phaplu Airport, Salleri on 23rd April, 2017 is likely to resume its service within a couple of day.

Official from Sita Air Mr. Ridesh Thapa said the engineering teams from Sita Air have already maintained the aircraft to fly back on the sky. The aircraft after the incident was brought to Kathmandu and is now on the domestic ramp of TIA. It is likely to operate its schedule flight from May 17, 2017.

Flight number 617 of Sita Air met a minor incident at Phaplu Airport, Salleri when the Dornier aircraft hit the wall after landing at Phaplu Airport. Flight 617 was en route to Lukla from Kathmandu but the adverse weather conditions at Lukla compelled it to divert to Phaplu Airport.
