South Korea to conduct safety assessment of NAC after proposal for Seoul flights

A South Korean team is expected to arrive Nepal for conducting safety assessment of Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) as the proposal for Kathmandu-Seoul flights is put forward. However, the date for the arrival of the inspection team is yet to be fixed.

The team is arriving Nepal to conduct assessment of NAC along with the inspection of the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA).

South Korea is one of the important destinations for nepali carriers due to increasing number of students and migrant workers.

The national flag carrier has already invited Sealed Quotations from all the interested Commercial Ground Handling Service Provider for providing Ground Handling at Incheon International Airport, Incheon, South Korea (ICN).

The flights from TIA to Incheon International Airport is expected to be conducted on Sunday, Wednesday and Friday with flight number RA-421 whereas the flight from Incheon International Airport-TIA will fly on Monday, Thursday and Saturday with flight number RA-422.

With the arrival of two wide body Airbus A330, NAC is planning to conduct its flights in countries like Japan, China, Australia and preparation for the first flights has already begun.
