Two Companies Forwarded Their Tendor Regarding The Auction Of Agni Airโ€™s Aircraft.

Agni Air, founded on March 2006, is ceased domestic airline of Nepal. It had three BAe Jetstream 41 and four Dornier 228. After the crash of 2 Dornier 228, remaining two Dornier 228 are in operation by Simrik Air whereas three Jetstream 41โ€™s have been grounded.

Agni Air had taken about 65 crore loan from Grand Bank Ltd, Sunrise Bank Ltd and International Leasing Finance Company (ILF). As Agni couldnโ€™t clear its debt so, itโ€™s aircraft have been kept into auction. It has been reported that Agni Air had even filed a case to Supreme Court to halt the Auction process. After long interval, finally two companies have forwarded their tendor to buy those aircraft.
